They better know you, they better get you. Talk about that, Peter. John: Talk about and want you to share a couple of thoughts about Warren Buffett and that whole deal. And have you seen that shift a little bit in the city since Milwaukee is kind of spearheading that, the Bucks? Peter Feigin: Yeah, I think I moved, I graduated from college and had a job, had an opportunity for a job that was kind of nuts. The world is incredible. Peter Feigin: And for a year of that, I kind of dropped everything and just kind of toured the country with an organized schedule, kind of understood the revenue part of it, kind of do. Going back into the past is something I wanted to ask you about. "Peter has completely re-imagined the Milwaukee Bucks business operation and grown in sales, ticket revenue, retail and global recognition which is very important," Colbert explained. It's about doing things for the right reasons. Afterward, a big group heads to City Diner on Broadway for brunch. He simplified the housing market for me. Just what you said is like were always coming in this balance of how do we, we want Giannis to represent the Bucks brand. I actually read a whole story, theres a whole article, Peter, about your ring. He trusts you to run a business and he also ethically says Dont do anything you wouldnt want on the front page of a newspaper the next day, and he means it. "As we got further along, one of my jobs was to staff up that operation and have a business plan," Feigin remembers. Peter: Well, I think its leadership 101, youve got to grasp where you are number one, and this was a very distressed brand company position. Whether it was in sports or somewhere else Id probably look to lead an opportunity for a turnaround or a startup. Peter Feigin: So, I think that the sky is the limit in how we take this unbelievable success and what we think could be a championship and get ready just for exponential growth. That automatically and having him sign for the next five years, that gives you this springboard that we think. Give Light and the People Will Find Their Own Way. Peter: heres the market. Talk a little bit about where you even grew up, how you even got here. I've been telling him. So I've been ticketing him with $5,000 tickets, $50,000 tickets with little notes. I know you love gear more than anybody. As commissioner of one of New York Citys longstanding pickup basketball games, Dan Feigin always knew where he would be every Saturday morning: inside the subterranean gymnasium at Trevor Day School in Manhattan, where he has worked for nearly three decades as a teacher, coach and administrator. And there is no magic wand that kind of changes this in six months. But the Bucks' toughest hit came off the court. We've got Peter Feigin. Those are simple, its his genius. As you said, because of your mom and dads background, and because you had some of the rock stars of industry, as you say, Masters of the Universe, as your partners, you got to meld your experiences, your parents coaching, and then the rock stars came and they were also, you got a perfect soup of business experience to create this amazing success story. Michael Red: And this was a decade long process, Peter? How we build our brand and how we build our awareness and likability around that, it's just kind of one of those no-brainers, too. How could we keep everybody afloat as long as we possibly could? What would you be doing if you just couldnt be doing this? Thats what we call our volunteering. "We have a. And it's kind of as an adult got me to a place where I desperately want our youth to get exposed to things they wouldn't normally get exposed to because that's how they learn what's out there. Peter: Oh, my goodness. This is a small town, even though it's a big city. You really need to build equity and build trust especially in the Midwest youve.
